Chernobyl Exclusion Zone #1

After the incident at the power plant in April 1986 the city of Pripyat and dozens of towns and villages in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant were evacuated. This photograph was taken in 2017 in the DUGA radar complex, designed to provide early warning of ballistic missile attacks from the west.

This is an original hand made cyanotype print and is 15 x 20 cm in size, mounted in a 24 x 30 cm passepartout. I will make no more than 100 prints at this size. Each print is discreetly signed and numbered. The signature is covered by the passepartout.
