Chernobyl Exclusion Zone #9

After the incident at the power plant in April 1986 the city of Pripyat and dozens of towns and villages in the vicinity of the nuclear power plant were evacuated. This photograph shows Cafe Pripyat on the banks of the river port. This building boasts huge stained glass windows and is one of the most beatiful places in the zone.

This is an original hand made cyanotype print and is 15 x 20 cm in size, mounted in a 24 x 30 cm passepartout. I will make no more than 100 prints at this size. Each print is discreetly signed and numbered. The signature is covered by the passepartout.
